Jessica Stangenwald is a Board-Certified family nurse practitioner and chiropractor with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Her multidisciplinary background includes biology, chiropractic care, nursing, functional medicine, and clinical nutrition, allowing her to evaluate health concerns from several interconnected perspectives.

Jessica’s interest in healthcare began early in life after watching her sister struggle with serious health concerns. That experience inspired her to better understand the human body and pursue a career focused on helping others improve their health and quality of life.

She earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology before attending Parker University, where she graduated in 2004 and began her career as a chiropractor.

While Jessica was in private practice, her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Watching her mother navigate that experience strengthened Jessica’s determination to continue her education, expand her clinical knowledge, and better understand the broader factors that influence health.

She returned to school and earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University, graduating with honors and becoming a Board-Certified family nurse practitioner. She has also completed more than 1,200 hours of postgraduate training in functional medicine and clinical nutrition.

Jessica’s combined education allows her to draw from conventional clinical training while also considering nutrition, lifestyle, laboratory findings, environmental influences, and the ways different systems within the body affect one another.

Today, Jessica brings her broad clinical training, whole-body perspective, and commitment to individualized care to patients throughout Texas through The Vital Reset, building on her experience leading The New You Medical & Infusion Clinic in Hurst.

Having cared for more than 20,000 patients throughout her career, Jessica remains passionate about listening carefully, educating patients, and helping them take a more informed and active role in their health.

Jessica resides in Texas with her family. Outside of patient care, she enjoys traveling, gardening, DIY projects, entrepreneurial conversations, and making meaningful memories with those closest to her.
